​MEET WILKA M. ROIG RIVERA

Wilka M. Roig Rivera, MA, MFA, is a transpersonal psychologist specializing in women’s psychology, embodied creativity, and dreams.  Her approach to dreamwork is a combination of archetypal and projective dreamwork, applied imagination, embodiment, active dreaming, and expressive art approaches to dreams and dreaming. Wilka works as Associate Core Faculty in the Creativity and Innovation track of the Global Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology program of the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology at Sofia University in Palo Alto, CA. Mayan philosopher and counter and interpreter of Mayan sacred time. As Aj`quij, Laura guides and helps orient the Being through the symbols and numbers of life and maintain the balance through the practice of the sacred Mayan ceremony. She is also a therapist in thetahealing to help

deprogram fears or barriers that prevent one from being on the path, or mission of one´s life. Laura is titled in Cultural Sciences by the university of the Cloister of Sor Juana, she maintains the study and practice of philosophy, hermeneutics, epistemology and general study of the humanities as tools to do, to bring consciousness the unconscious of the soul of the world.

Lauren Herold, LMT, is an energy healer, hypnotherapist and herbalist in Seattle, WA. ​MEET DIDI FIRMAN

Dr. Firman has worked in the field of psychology and counseling for over thirty years and teaches nationally and internationally. She specializes in psychosynthesis, a spiritual psychology, and offers a Board Certified Training Program in Psychosynthesis Life Coaching. She is a retired professor of Graduate Psychology and Counseling.

 

Dr. Firman is a keynote speaker, consultant and workshop leader.She is the New York Times bestselling co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. She has authored many other books,  translated into many languages.  She has published many scholarly articles and book chapters.

 

Didi is a practitioner of Iaido, a Japanese martial art, and holds a black belt.  Her life is defined by an ongoing inclination to listen for the call of Self—and then to answer.

​MEET AMANDA GARCÍA

Amanda trained as a craniosacral therapist at the Upledger Institute in Spain, where she worked as a translator and interpreter, and learnt advanced CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release. She got her certification as a teacher of the craniosacral technique at Corpore Formación, Granada, Spain. She started her first private practice in Salamanca, Spain, where she worked for the Association of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrom. She lives and works in San Miguel de Allende since 2012.

Alison has worked in the field of women’s medicine, plant medicine, and holistic medicine for 38 years.  She has titles of anthropologist, perinatal educator, and professional midwife, and she has offered midwifery courses and plant spirit medicine for 30 years.  She is the co-creator of La Victoriana store in San Miguel de Allende, offering hand made health products and gifts for the last 45 years. Alison’s work is published in various health and midwifery anthologies and magazines.

​MEET DAYANA PAZ

Ritualist woman, moon dancer, tarot reader, temazcal facilitator, mother, women’s circle facilitator, workshop facilitator and ritual organizer for 13 years, Dayana focuses on whole-person enrichment, strengthening personal & corporate relationships.  She offers individual consultations to guide emotional restoration and inner growth.  Dayana is also a seeker of herself, following a path of continuous education through various traditional practices, and in her journey of self-discovery, she has integrated disciplines such as meditation, yoga, and sacred chant.  Currently, she is the Wellness Director of the tourism company Coyote Canyon Adventures.  As a ritualist and officiant, Dayana facilitates rites of passage.

Arnold Hook, LCSW, PhD, practices psychotherapy at a group practice in Syracuse, NY. Prior to his practice of twenty years, he taught and did research as a cultural anthropologist. Dr. Hook trained with Jeremy Taylor and is certified through the MIPD in dreamwork process. He continually seeks ways to understand and appreciate the role dreams in our lives. He leads dream groups and encourages the use of dreams in therapy. Dr. Hook believes firmly that all people not only specialists can work with their dreams in finding health and wholeness.

Jenny’s professional offering aims to support and empower other creative, soul-seeking women in their journey to discovering and expressing the beauty, wisdom and wildness of their deepest heart’s longing. She has earned certifications in yoga, massage therapy, Reiki, Sufi Spiritual Healing, and Archetypal and Cross-Cultural Psychology with Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés.

 

Jenny is a student and teacher of various wisdom traditions and holds degrees in Philosophy, Comparative Religion, and Transpersonal Psychology with a specialization in Creativity and Innovation. ​MEET MATTHEW WYMAN

Dr. Wyman is an experienced educator, astrologer, and essence practitioner from Stoke-on-Trent, UK. He works at Keele University, where he has received numerous awards for his teaching activities. He has been a practicing astrologer since 2010, working with clients across Europe and the Americas and running several workshops and training programmes. Since he trained with Astro Logos, run by Bernadette Brady and Darrelyn Gunzburg, he describes his approach to horoscope work as part modern, part ancient. Modern astrology works for in-depth exploration of psychological issues, but, he says, you can’t beat medieval astrology for accurate work on the outer world of money, status and power.

​MEET MONTSE BRITO

Montserrat has a bachelor of educational sciences.  She specializes in dance movement therapy and body movement and is a certified Feldenkrais and Eutony therapist.  She is a certified sound-wave massage therapist as well as deep tissue and skeletal maneuvering.  Montserrat teaches the Frida Kaplan method of eutonic pregnancy and birth, and the Feldenkrais method of self-awareness through movement and functional integration.

​MEET REBECCA PETERSON

Rebecca Lynn Peterson, MA, EIP, is an art therapist and long-term resident of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She studied archetypal art therapy at the University of New Mexico and is currently a doctoral student in her dissertation phase at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She is trained in Embodied Imagination® dreamwork with Jungian analyst Robert Bosnak. Rebecca is an artist teaching workshops in embellishing tin nichos (boxes) and visual journaling with Jung’s Red Book, and working in ecopsychology and environmental activism.

​MEET SVEN DOEHNER

Sven Doehner, PhD, MFA, born and raised in México City, is an Archetypal Junguian Psychoanalyst mentored by James Hillman.  Also trained as a Somatic Movement Educator in the School for BodyMindMovement, he has given courses, led workshops and directed training programs in México, Europe, Australia and North as well as South America. 

 

Sven’s therapeutic approach blends Junguian Archetypal perspectives with native healing and spiritual practices, focused on opening psychic space to restore physical, emotional, mental and spiritual movement in the lives of those who work with him.  

 

He founded the “Instituto de Psicología Profunda en México” in 1991 and is now also the Director of the “Instituto Macuil: Educación Transpersonal”, offering quality training in Transpersonal Psychology in México.  

 

He is presently writing about his innovative approach to working with dreams, called “Voice Alchemy in Dreamwork”, in which dream images find their voice, which will be included in his pre-conference workshop as well as in his dream groups.

​MEET JEREMY TAYLOR

Jeremy Taylor, an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister, has worked with dreams for over forty years; he blends the values of spirituality with an active social conscience and a Jungian perspective. Founding member and past president of the International Association for the Study of Dreams, he has written several books integrating dream symbolism, mythology, and archetypal energy. His books have been translated into many languages.

 

Jeremy appears regularly on local, regional, and national radio and TV, and pioneered on-line dream work as host of AOL's innovative dream work show. He has taught in the schools and seminaries of the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA for over 40 years and teaches at a wide variety of colleges and universities in the Bay Area. In addition he offers workshops all over the world, and works with

individual clients and groups online.
